Thank you to everyone who joined us for our 4th Annual J Steppin' 4 Autism Fun Walk on June 6, 2026!

This family-friendly event brought together participants of all ages in a fun, supportive, and uplifting atmosphere. Many attendees proudly wore custom shirts honoring the individuals they were walking for and added to the celebration with posters, flags, pom-poms, ribbon dancers, and more.

 

The walk provided a wonderful opportunity to:

​

• Raise awareness and support for the autism community
• Connect with families, friends, advocates, and supporters
• Celebrate inclusion, acceptance, and community

 

We were honored to welcome KMOV First Alert 4 personalities Morgan Harris and Jordyn Burrell as our Co-Grand Marshals. Their enthusiasm, encouragement, and support helped make the day even more special for participants and families.

 

We were honored to partner with several outstanding community organizations, including Autism Support Now, Latitude Therapy, and St. Louis Arc, who helped make the day informative and engaging for attendees.

 

Guests also enjoyed live music from our DJ, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the event. Top Hat Entertainment delighted children with custom balloon creations during the first hour, and an anonymous donor generously provided a limited donation of toys for children.

 

We are also incredibly grateful to our generous food and refreshment donors. Pretzel Boys donated fresh pretzels for participants to enjoy, while Sam's Club Chesterfield provided bottled water, Cheez-It snacks, and granola bars to help keep everyone energized throughout the event.

We are also thankful for the media coverage and community awareness generated by KMOV First Alert 4, Fox 2, and The St. Louis American. Their support helped amplify our mission and share the importance of autism awareness, acceptance, and inclusion throughout the region.

 

Every step taken during this event helped promote understanding, acceptance, and support for individuals and families affected by autism. We are grateful to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, donated, and supported our mission. Together, we continue building a more inclusive and compassionate community.
