Annual Toy Drive Benefiting Children with Autism & Other Developmental Delays

Our Story

Founded in 2021, our annual Toy Drive was created to bring joy to children with autism during the holiday season. What started as a small act of kindness has grown into an annual community initiative serving hundreds of children each year.

Our donations have supported children receing autism services through:

These organizations provide essential therapy and support services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

5th Annual Toy Drive - A Community Effort

Our 5th Annual Jaxson's Give the Gift of Play Toy Drive was our biggest and most meaningful year yet. In honor of my son, our community came together to help us reach and exceed our goal of 500 toys!

Because of the incredible generosity of so many, we collected over 500 toys to support local children with autism and other developmental delays.

We were also incredibly grateful to Fox 2 news for inviting my son and me on the air to help promote the toy drive and spread awareness.

Where the Toys Went:

The majority of the toys were donated to Easterseals Midwest, including 300 toys that went directly to their Milk & Cookies with Santa event on December 6th. Another 100 toys were pick up by staff from the agency and were distributed to kiddos with autism.

As part of the drive, we were gifted 15 bikes which was a total surprise. 10 were donated to Easterseals Midwest and the remaining 5 were gifted to kiddos with autism at a local elementary through J Steppin' 4 Autism. While privacy policies prevented us from knowing which children received them, we do know they went to kiddos with autism and other developmental delays who were carefully selected by school staff.

Because of this collective effort, hundreds of kiddos experienced extra joy during the holiday season. Thank you to every donor, business, healthcare provider, and community member who made this milestone year possible. This mission continues to grow each year and it's all because of you!
